A Louisville That Works for Everyone!
Fair. Affordable. For The People.
Louisville should be a place where you can afford to live, feel safe, and build a future. Too many families are being priced out and left behind.
I’m running for Mayor to change that.

Make Louisville More Affordable
Shameka will fight to lower the cost of living and make sure working families, seniors, and young people can afford to stay in Louisville.
- Expand affordable housing and tenant protections
- Increase neighborhood access to affordable groceries, including grocery co-ops and municipally owned options
- Pursue lower, more accountable energy costs, including studying municipal ownership of LG&E and opposing hyperscale data centers
- Improve accessible, reliable transit and support a local referendum to increase TARC funding
Build a More Stable Louisville
Public safety starts with stable neighborhoods, strong services, and real investment in people before crisis hits.
- Invest in violence prevention and youth programs
- Expand mental health and addiction services
- Install and maintain public restrooms citywide
- Protect immigrant, unhoused, and LGBTQ residents

Make Government Work for the People
Metro Government should be transparent, accountable, and easier for residents to navigate.
- Expand affordable housing and tenant protections
- Increase neighborhood access to affordable groceries, including grocery co-ops and municipally owned options
- Pursue lower, more accountable energy costs, including studying municipal ownership of LG&E and opposing hyperscale data centers
- Improve accessible, reliable transit and support a local referendum to increase TARC funding
Create Opportunity That Stays Here
Louisville should be a city where people can build a life, raise a family, grow a business, and retire with dignity.
- Support unions, small businesses, and local jobs
- Expand career pathways for young people
- Help seniors age in place
- Advance accessibility and multilingual services
