WE GET THERE TOGETHER

Every dollar should work as hard as the people who earn it—spent with purpose, guided by values, & focused on long-term results.

Ready on Day One

This isn’t on-the-job training—experience matters. I’m ready to lead immediately because I’ve already been doing the work.

Proven Integrity

Trust is earned through consistency, courage, and showing up—governing with people, not over them, even when it’s not popular.

Equity Built

The best solutions come from the people closest to the problem. Every neighborhood deserves equal care and a seat at the table.

ABOUT SHAMEKA

Metro Councilwoman Shameka Parrish-Wright is a longtime Louisville community leader running for mayor with a simple promise: responsibility comes first, and serving the people comes always. After years of organizing, listening, and leading across neighborhoods, Shameka is ready to lead on day one with courage, character, and consistency.

Her vision is a Louisville that works for everyday people, not just the well-connected. That means public safety rooted in housing, mental health, disaster preparedness, infrastructure, and neighborhood investment. With responsible stewardship and real co-governance, Shameka is building a people-powered campaign for a city where families can stay, seniors can age with dignity, young people can build a future, and every neighborhood feels seen, supported, and respected.

SHAMEKA’S POLICIES

A Metro Government
That Works for All.

Metro Government should be accessible, accountable, and responsive to every neighborhood, small city, and county community.

As Mayor, Shameka will create stronger neighborhood coordination, launch accountability and performance tracking, make service and spending data public, and streamline how government gets things done.

Government should work for people, not frustrate them.
